New Year Walk: Victoria Park And Surrounds

Because of Covid-19 walks are for members only, are limited to 5 members plus the leader, and must be booked in advance with the leader whose contact details are in the newsletter and programme circulated to members in November 2020.

Meet: 13:30 In Victoria Park, by the chicane on the N part of the inner perimeter road, near the NE corner of the Botanic Gardens. GR ST739655 Landranger 172/Explorer 155
Finish: 3.30-4pm. Victoria Park (Please note that the finish time in the printed programme was incorrect.)
Focus: Urban wildlife in winter, with a focus on botany and insects, and looking for plants in flower to participate in the BSBI New Year Plant Hunt.
Description: A leisurely urban walk. Stout footwear recommended. Wrap up warm. Bring a hot drink.
