New Year Plant Hunt – Bath City Centre

Focus: Winter-flowering plants
Description: As last year, we will be participating in this annual event organised by the Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland, aiming to find as many species as possible in flower within a 3-hour walk. (We can stop the clock for refreshment breaks!) A circular urban walk of a few miles, taking in the river, canal towpath, city centre, possibly Royal Victoria Park, looking for plants in flower but almost certainly coming across much else besides. Bring a warm drink and a snack, but we could stop at the Garden Café at the Holbourne Museum for warming drinks/lunch as last year. Exact length of meeting will depend on the weather.
