Kenfig Burrows NNR, South Wales, with Bath RSPB

Leaders: Dave Newman and Rob Randall
Coach: 7.30 start with various pick up points in Bath, to be advised on booking form.
Focus: General interest, but Dave will lead a party concentrating on birds, Rob will lead on plants and insects.
Description: National Nature Reserve comprising an extensive dune system (one of the largest and certainly the most diverse in Wales), a lagoon, and scrub. The dune slacks support fenland species such as Fen Orchid and Marsh Helleborine. The dunes support coastal and lime-loving plants. There should be plenty of dragonflies and other insects on the wing. Toilets are available at the visitor centre.
