Meet: Compton Dando church, ST646646. Landranger 172/Explorer 155. Limited parking nearby so car-sharing advisable if possible.
Focus: General interest
Description: Walk of about 3.5 km along paths and tracks through woodland and grassland by the River Chew. The varied geology results in equally varied vegetation, and the scrubby hedgerows produce plenty of bird activity. Some ascents and descents and muddy in places so sturdy walking boots or shoes recommended.
