Meet: Newton St Loe churchyard, GR ST701649. Landranger Map 172/Explorer Map 155. Please park considerately in village.
Focus: General interest, local history and natural history.
Description: A circular walk of 4.3 miles, taking in the lakes and woods in the grounds of Bath Spa University, up to Wlimington through pasture and quiet lanes, returning to Newton via Whistling Copse. Mainly fairly level walking, with one moderate climb of about 170ft. Uneven paths in places and muddy if wet. Stout walking boots/shoes recommended and bring a packed lunch.
