Meet: Bear Flat outside The Bear, ST745638. Landranger 172/Explorer 155. Several buses stop at Bear Flat, including the one from Odd Down Park & Ride.
Focus: Urban trees and parkland wildlife
Description: A stroll through the parks and streets of Bath taking in Moorlands Park, originally part of a private estate and including some impressive specimen trees, then via Englishcombe Lane and local roads to Alexandra Park and Beechen Cliff. Some moderate slopes but mostly easy going. Muddy in places after rain.
