Friary Fungus Day

Meet: Just within Friary, to the right of the metal grid, where you will see a sign “Welcome to park”. GR ST 788591, Landranger 172/Explorer 142. Friary is reached via Friary Wood Lane, a narrow road leading down from the A36.
Focus: Grassland and woodland fungi
Description: There will be a display of fungi collected beforehand. Both morning and afternoon excursions into the woods and meadows around Friary. Stout footwear advised. Shelter and toilet facilities are available on-site. A light luncheon will be provided. Vegan option available.
