Meet: At entrance to Haycombe Cemetery. GR ST 721635 Landranger 172/Explorer 155.
If arriving by car, park at Roundhill Park. If coming by bus, the (Whiteway) No.5, via Twerton runs every 15 minutes, or catch the (Southdown) No.1 to Wedmore Park, then take the path along north edge of Twerton Roundhill, or the (Haycombe) No.12, is every hour. Check Traveline updates.

Focus: General interest, local history, and natural history
Description: A walk of around 2-3 miles along tracks and footpaths, brooks, and streams, passing historic features including Culverhay Castle and the Tythe Barn. Hilly and muddy in places, walking boots or wellingtons with a good grip are essential.
