Description: A slow walk looking at fungi, and bryophytes in particular, through this plantation on an area of acidic soils and former lead-mining activity. There are good broad rides, although these may be muddy, but if we leave the paths, the ground is uneven “gruffy ground” so please take great care. Stout footwear is recommended and please bring a packed lunch.
