New Year City Walk: Bathwick Meadows And Smallcombe

Meet: 10:00 Riverside footpath opposite St John’s Church. By the Cricket Ground. GR ST753644 Landranger 172/Explorer 155
Finish: 12:30 – 13:00 Halfpenny Bridge
Focus: Urban wildlife in winter. Winter thrushes, peregrine, buzzard, kingfisher, grey wagtail, possibly blackcap. Winter heliotrope in flower.
Description: A leisurely walk of about two miles along footpaths with some steep slopes and steps. Stout footwear required. Wrap up warm. Bring a hot drink.
